INFO: Wallbridge Lower Lock Closure

From Tuesday 13th to Tuesday 20th February, the Barge Delilah will be moored in Wallbridge Lower Lock to allow access to the offside. This will be for about a week and will mean that anyone wishing to pass through the lock will need to move Delilah to a suitable passing place (Stroud Brewery Wall?). Posted 12/02/18.

ONGOING: Volunteers - can you help the CCT Fundraising Team?

The CCT are undertaking a major fund-raising initiative to support the next phase of canal development and restoration including the latest Heritage Lottery Fund Bid. This phase will connect the Stroudwater Canal that has already been restored around Stroud to the national canal network at Saul Junction providing a wonderful local amenity for everyone. For Health & Safety and Insurance reasons, Volunteer's Training & Competences records are maintained within Connect to ensure that only suitably trained or qualified volunteers use certain equipment.

If you possess a recognised qualification to operate specific machinery - e.g. chainsaws, brush cutters etc - please let me know and forward a copy of the appropriate certificate to cct-webmaster@teamconnect.org.uk.
