General Volunteer Information
NEW! Team Leader's Handbook on SafetyNet

Following detailed discussions with CCT Operational Managers, 2x new documents have been developed for Activity and Team Leaders at our sites with restoration, construction, production or maintenance activities:

1) a Team Leader's Handbook with H&S & Environmental guidance/links, and
2) a new form entitled “ Injury Prevention Observations” which will record safe working practices and ideas for improvement to minimise the risk of injury.

Additionally, we have slightly revised the policy of when Lifejackets should be worn.

Although we have agreed the new Team Leaders Handbook with specific reference to our operational site activities, the principles apply generally to all our CCT volunteer locations (e.g. Administration, Visitor Centres, Used Bookshop, etc) therefore all volunteers should be made aware of their contents.

Please take time to familiarise yourselves with all these documents via the SafetyNet menu option available on this Welcome Page. In SafetyNet, go to the "Policy and Procedures" Folder to view the documents.
